INTRODUCTION

• SIDDHA SYSTEM OF MEDICINE also known as “Siddha Vaidya” in India,is the oldest among Indian Medical Systems.
• According to tradition, it was Lord Shiva- who un folded the knowledge of Siddha system of medicine to his concert Parvathi, who handed it down to Nandideva, and he, the Siddhars.
