Male infertility has become a very big problem all around the world. 5-10 yrs back when a couple came for infertility centre the female partner was frequently blamed in this problem, but the trend has been changed now.The focus has now shifted from women to men why??? .Infertility has always been discussed in hushed voice in India and it is perilous enough to be a public health challenge.

When a couple is trying to have a baby for the past 7-8 months, and no positive result occurred with frequent and regular intercourse,it is advisable to consider fertility testing. Some of the common causes for male infertility are already. I explained in previous article.

  • Gorging junk food.
  • Smoking ,Drinking.
  • Excessive chlorine and arsenic in potable water.
  • Lack of vitamins minerals rich food (VitC,E,A&minerals zinc and selinium).
  • Being overweight.
  • Being underweight.
  • Erectile dysfunction.
  • Ejaculatory dysfunction.
  • Stress found in 1/3 of infertility couple.
  • Poor semen quality.
  • Air pollution.
  • Genetic predisposition.
  • The way we live (job pressure,vehicular pollution,post poning parent hood,galloping urbanisation).


Today 50% of patients who consult Gynaecologist were have infertility problem.For 1/3 of all

infertility cases the man is as fault.2008-2009 study reveals that 20-25% of the city’s married couples

are infertile. Study was done by Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological societies of India.

All of us have to earn for what??? Earnings also an important need of our life. But What about your health??No

one think about it . It is the time to think.Through this article I want to share my latest experiences about male

infertility. If this article create an awareness. I have achieve my goal.
